Who Runs MortgageRatePro
MortgageRatePro is written and maintained by Federico Miotti, its founder and editor. Federico holds a degree in Business Economics from Ca' Foscari University of Venice and a Master's in Finance and Management Control, and he founded Quadra Studio, an accounting, tax and corporate-finance firm in Vicenza, Italy, where he leads the strategic finance practice. Since 2012 he has taught courses on the relationship between banks and businesses.
Research and Data
Besides calculators, we publish original analysis of public data. Our monthly CD Rate Gap Report compares the FDIC's national average CD rates with U.S. Treasury yields and inflation, with the full methodology, sources and downloadable data on the page.
